History
Healing Partners Counseling is also known as Latino Healing Partners. It was founded by Yudelka Columna in 2019. It was based on the need for quality, ethical and culturally sensitive mental health services for Latinos and other disadvantaged groups. She was driven by a fervent desire to be more effective in helping children, youth and their families develop resiliency and become strong, creative, and thriving despite the adversity in their lives.
Our Healing Partners program has been approved for MEDICAID Intensive- In – Community programs (called Perform Care) to provide counseling services to children, youth, parents, and families.
Our Programs
Counseling Services
We provide free or low cost counseling services to disadvantaged groups, including individual, couples and family therapy. Our therapists assist children, adults and families that could not afford therapy in other agencies.
Education
We provide free presentations about mental health in the Latino communities in order to educate the communities and to reduce stigma.
Support Groups & Mentorships
We provide support groups and mentors to individuals dealing with mental illnesses, and their family members.
